What is the temperature Limitations for Purex Machines or Filters?
1) Does the air going into the Purex filter have to be below a certain temperature to work? 2) Using a Purex Filtration System to ventilate an oven, what is the maximum temperature for the air coming into the fume extractor?
For ALL of Purex filtration Systems:
- Ideally the air needs to be under 45°C (~ 110-Deg. Far.)
- Cooler air should be introduced into the oven port for the Purex unit
- If the temperature is higher then 50°C , the carbon will not be as effective, premature failure of the filter can occur or possible damage to the electronics.
